About M3 Land Company

M3 stands for Moore — and represents the three people at the heart of this company: Doug, his wife Terri, and their daughter Maci.
M3 Land Company was built as a family-driven business rooted in integrity, hard work, and legacy. The name reflects more than branding — it reflects commitment. Every decision, every relationship, and every transaction carries the Moore name behind it.
Doug Moore is a lifelong Central North Carolina native with a deep connection to the land and the people who own it. Raised in the Piedmont region, he grew up understanding that land is more than property — it is heritage, opportunity, and long-term investment.
Before entering real estate, Doug spent decades working in grading and site development. He has personally cleared land, built roads, shaped drainage systems, installed infrastructure, and prepared properties for homes, farms, and subdivisions. That hands-on background provides a practical understanding of how land truly works — from soil conditions and topography to access, water flow, and long-term usability.
Over the years, Doug has developed extensive knowledge across multiple property types, including recreational tracts, farmland, timberland, rural homes on acreage, and residential development parcels. His experience evaluating these different land uses allows him to understand both the physical characteristics of a property and its broader potential.
Doug holds the prestigious Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) designation through the Realtors Land Institute. The ALC designation is earned by a small percentage of land professionals nationwide and represents advanced education, proven transaction experience, and a commitment to high ethical standards in land brokerage.
Today, Doug continues to live and work in Central North Carolina with Terri and Maci, building a company centered on family, reputation, and long-term relationships.
M3 is not just a business name — it represents who and what matters most.
